How NOT to execute a soccer breakaway, as demonstrated by Pablo Armero

That’s Udinese’s Pablo Armero properly demonstrating how to improperly execute a one-on-one breakaway in soccer. I’m sure he saw it going a lot smoother in his head, but in actuality his actions translated into resembling me after a one beer. He might want to try striking the ball next time, you know, for better results.

Blunders like this can be easily forgotten if your team goes on to recover from your mistake and come away with the win. Unfortunately for Armero, he wasn’t so lucky & his team blew the lead and wound up losing by one goal…in penalty kicks. This didn’t help, either.
