Introducing the NHL 13 “Hercules Check” glitch

When I wrote my official review of NHL 13 last week, I wrote about how much the game’s developers improved the realism of the game and provided a more authentic hockey experience. Well, this glitch definitely wouldn’t fall under the category of “realistic” or “authentic.” As the video below proves, there is (or was) a glitch in NHL 13 that allows a player making a hip check while in the process of a line change can send an opposing skater flying with a strength comparable to that of the epic Greek god.

If this glitch hasn’t been fixed yet it certainly will be soon. In the meantime, enjoy having the all-powerful strength of Hercules at your fingertips.
