Tom Brady Fined $10,000 For AFC Championship Slide

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Tom Brady was fined $10,000 by the NFL for unnecessary roughness on his controversial slide in last Sunday’s AFC title game. The incident came at the end of the second quarter when Brady scrambled out of the pocket and slid cleats high into Ravens safety Ed Reed.

It was an unusually dirty and unsportsmanlike showing from Brady, who apologized to Reed following the game. Reed accepted Brady’s apology and said “I respect Brady and his game for all it stands for, and I know he’s not a dirty player.”

The fine may come as a surprise to some fans around the league who love to complain about the NFL constantly protecting and defending their ‘Golden Boy’ in Brady.

If this was New Orleans Saints he would have been suspended for the first 6 games of next season, so who is Brady he can do crap like this and only get a 10K fine? He is a rumpy little weasle afraid he is going to get touched by a defender, can’t throw a football, over the hill peice of crap. It is chump change that is why he won’t be taught a lesson…………suspend him!! The NFL is two sided.

So let me get this straight Brady gets fined 10K for dirty play, and Gore gets 10.5K for wearing his socks to low…. Something sounds odd here
