Jerry Seinfeld Will Make An Appearance On Wale’s New Rap Album

Wale’s love affair with Seinfeld continues to grow deeper and deeper. Having already released two Seinfeld-themed mixtapes (The Mixtape About Nothing in 2008 and More About Nothing in 2010) that heavily sampled and referenced the sitcom, the Washington, D.C. based rapper has again decided to honor the show with his next album, The Album About Nothing, and is even bringing Jerry Seinfeld himself onboard for the project.

In a video interview, Seinfeld says he learned about Wale from his wife, who is a big fan, and met him following one of his comedy shows. He also delivered a pretty funny, Seinfeld-esque quote about his guest appearance on the album:

Wale wanted me to do something with him and I didn’t understand it, but he did, and I kinda liked the guy, I dug the guy, I liked his music, so I said ‘Alright, I’ll do it,’ even though I didn’t know what I was gonna do.
