Patriots Safety Derrick Martin’s Home Robbed During Sunday’s AFC Championship

bos_u_dmartin2_sy_400While Patriots safety Derrick Martin was on the sideline watching his team get stomped by the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday, two masked men invaded his Colorado home and made away with ”numerous items of value.”

The 27-year old Martin wasn’t active for Sunday’s game but was still present on the sidelines in Foxboro as several family members and friends, including children, watched the game from Martin’s home in Aurora, CO. Aurora police said that the two armed robbers forced their way into the home and fled with goods but nobody was hurt and no threats were made.

With the two suspects wearing masks, the police are struggling to find a description of the men. They’re also not clear if Martin was a target or it was a random home invasion.
