Warner Bros. Drops Featurette On Jackie Robinson Biopic, ’42′

The folks over at Warner Brothers just released this two-minute featurette on ’42,’ the upcoming biopic that tells the story of Major League Baseball’s first black player, Jackie Robinson.

Included in the featurette is commentary from the cast and crew, including writer/director Brian Helgeland, Harrison Ford, Chadwick Boseman and Lucas Black. Also starring in ’42′ are actors Christoper Meloni (Law and Order: SVU), Alan Tudyk (Tucker and Dale vs Evil), and John C. McGinley (Scrubs).

This film, though long overdue, looks like it’s going to be an awesome depiction of one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports and Chadwick Boseman appears to be a great fit for the role of Robinson. To say I’m excited for this would be a vast understatement.

’42′ hits theaters nationwide on April 12.
