Fresh on the heels of last Fall’s success of Assassin’s Creed III, Ubisoft has wasted no time in hyping the next installment in the franchise - Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Last Thursday, the publisher released the box art for the pirate-themed AC4. This week, we get a trailer that reveals a little bit about the plot and gives a look into some of the features you can expect from the gameplay.
As to be expected, the trailer is pretty badass…and we’re now that much more excited for the latest installment in the series.
Some plot details, from The Examiner:
The main character’s name is Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3. Edward is known as a Privateer, Assassin and occasional pirate. The games location is set in the Caribbean on multiple islands including Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas
At this point, very little is known about the game other than the piracy theme and the above character & setting info. However, it has been confirmed that the game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC and also has plans for next-generation consoles as well.
