Aaron Hernandez being sued for allegedly shooting man in the face in Miami

Aaron Hernandez is having a rough week, to say the least.

After the Patriots tight end was questioned by Massachusetts State Police about a murder near his home earlier this week, he had a search warrant executed on his house Tuesday and, now, news is leaking that the 23-year old is being sued by a man who claims Hernandez shot him in the face at a Miami nightclub in February.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit was filed in federal court in Florida on June 13 and claims that Hernandez and an acquaintance, Alexander S. Bradley, went to Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami on February 13, 2013. After the two men got into a verbal altercation, they left the club and got into the same car. During the ride, Hernandez allegedly aimed his weapon at Bradley and the gun discharged, striking Bradley in the face.

The victim suffered significant injury, including the loss of his right eye. Bradley claimed he required major surgery to reconstruct his face and also suffered damage to his right hand and arm, which required surgery as well.

Bradley, who is seeking more than $100,000 in damages, said Hernandez did not have a license for the gun.

Here’s a legal document sent to Hernandez from Bradley’s lawyer, acquired by Terez Owens.
