Jason Collins throws out first pitch at Red Sox Game

The Red Sox invited former Celtics center Jason Collins, the first active American athlete to publicly announce he was gay, to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at last night’s game against the Rangers at Fenway. Collins graciously accepted the invitation and received a very warm welcome from the Friendly Fenway crowd, something that’s sure to put a smile on your face. Great moment.
