Texas A&M to honor late teammate with awesome helmet decal

The 2013 Texas A&M Aggies will honor one of their fallen teammates with a great helmet decal this season, the school announced this week.

Though all the Johnny Manziel drama has taken up most of the headlines this offseason, the saddest news from A&M this summer came when redshirt freshman defensive tackle Polo Manukainiu died in a car accident along with two friends in July.

The Aggies will be sporting a black decal with Manukainiu’s name and #90 jersey, filled with a Tongan tribal design to celebrate Polo’s heritage, on the back of their helmets throughout this entire season.

A sad story, but a great gesture by A&M.
