University of Miami bookstore selling football jerseys sans numbers

In light of recent criticism (spearheaded by Jay Bilas’ trolling) that college programs benefit financially from player jersey sales, it looks like the University of Miami is avoiding any such criticism by selling football jerseys sans player numbers in their book store. The picture below shows what said jerseys look like, and boy do they look stupid.

Who the hell would actually buy these things?

Darren Rovell tweeted out the picture today and asked “Is this the future?”

For the sake of college football fans everywhere, I certainly hope not.
