Gabriel Landeskog is not the captain of goal celebrations

In 2012, Gabriel Landeskog was named captain of the Colorado Avalanche at 19-years old, making him the youngest captain ever in the history of the NHL. Fast forward to a pre-season scrimmage in 2013 and we find out that he is certainly not the captain of goal celebrations.

Landeskog was awarded a penalty shot in the Avalanche’s annual Bergundy-White intra-squad scrimmage, which he managed to bury top shelf like a bawse. He decided to celebrate with a cool guy “I do this for a living” nonchalant backwards skate away from the net. That was all well and good until Landeskog forgot about the whole “hockey rinks are surrounded by boards” thing.

Not such a cool guy anymore now, are we?
