Watch Jason Alexander try to teach Larry David how to play George Costanza

If you’re a Seinfeld fan, you’ll like enjoy this clip that features Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza on the long-running NBC sitcom, giving tips on how to embrace the role to Larry David, the show’s creator.

While ordinarily it would be pretty ironic for an actor to give portrayal tips to the guy who actually created the character, it’s even more ironic here since Larry David modeled the Costanza character after himself. Essentially, David is George in real life.

I’m a firm believer that George Costanza is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, TV character of all-time. I also don’t believe that any other actor could have embodied George as well as Jason Alexander did for nearly a decade. It was a perfect fit, and nobody – not even Larry David himself, obviously – could have done it better.
