With the tying run at the plate, Cardinals rookie Kolten Wong got picked off at first base by Koji Uehara to end Game 4 of the World Series. It was the first time in the 109 year history of the World Series that a game ended on a pickoff. The play sealed a 4-2 win for the Red Sox and tied the series at two games apiece.

Wong immediately knew he seriously screwed up.
