Power outage delays ALCS Game 3 at Comerica Park

EyeTVSnapshot

A power outage delayed the start of the bottom half of the second inning at Comerica Park during Tuesday’s Game 3 of the ALCS. We know what you’re thinking…bankrupt Detroit forgot to pay their electric bill again, but the actual cause was an offline power substation. It caused the the majority of stadium lights and scoreboards at Comerica to turn off, prompting a 17-minute delay…despite the fact the game had a 4:00 PM start time.

John Lackey was not pleased that he had to wait to get back on the mound.
