Taylor Hall breaks record held by Gretzky, scores two goals in span of eight seconds


You know you’ve done something pretty special when you break a scoring record held by Wayne Gretzky. Taylor Hall was able to do that on Thursday night, erasing Gretzky’s name from the Oilers record books held by scoring two goals in a span of eight seconds against the New York Islanders.

The Great One scored two in nine seconds against the St. Louis Blues in 1981.
