Cal’s special teams unit is having a TERRIBLE day against USC

Nelson Agholor got the scoring started in today’s USC-Cal showdown in California, returning the Golden Bears’ first punt of the day all the way for six. Not the start the 1-8 Bears were looking for.

But it only got worse for Cal’s special teams unit.

They had a second quarter punt near their own goal line blocked for a touchdown:

At first glance, it looked like USC blocked the kick but, upon further inspection, Cal’s punter kicked it straight into the back of one of his linemen:

Then, Cal allowed ANOTHER punt return touchdown to Algholor towards the end of the first half.
