Christian Ehrhoff’s game-winning goal sneaks through spacing between defender’s skate and boot

Christian Ehrhoff scored the game-winner in overtime of Friday’s Sabres-Maple Leafs game when he snuck a point shot through the gap between Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Carl Gunnarsson’s skate blade and boot. Ehrhoff’s shot just barely snuck in through the spacing on its way to beating James Reimer five-hole. It was one of those “better to be lucky than good” moments, and an incredible one at that.
