Oklahoma player takes out official on the sidelines

The Oklahoma Sooners were able to convert a big pass play while backed up on their own goal line late in the fourth quarter on Saturday versus the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and a Sooners player took out a referee in the process.

As you can see in the GIF above, the referee was following the developing play down the sidelines when a Sooners player got in his way and sent him to the ground hard. The ref immediately threw a penalty flag for interference, but later changed his mind and no penalty was called.

If only Mike Tomlin could have gotten so lucky.
