Steven Stamkos is skating just a month after a broken tibia

We’ve already chronicled Steven Stamkos’ possible superhuman healing power when we told you how the superstar Lightning forward was walking without any assistance just two weeks after he broke his tibia. Well it appears that some more proof to this theory has emerged.

That’s Steven Stamkos running  through a stick handling drill in New Jersey earlier today. Looks pretty good for a guy who snapped his leg in half over a month ago.

Obviously Tampa Bay fans are rejoicing, as the original prognosis for an injury such as his is usually 4-6 months. Stamkos is on his way returning well before that time frame and there is a possibility that he’ll be able to suit up for team Canada in Sochi. Good news for Canada, terrible news for the rest of the world.
