Daft Punk created some serious hype last week when they aired a 15-second clip of a new single during a commercial break on Saturday Night Live. Since then, lots of Internet-basementers have created fake “leaks of the song” to tease and torture those awaiting the release of the funky disco-sounding track. We have a feeling the video above is one of those fakes – it’s basically just a loop of the 15-second sample with a basic bassline (one that sounds very similar to DP’s “Around The World”) but it’s definitely the most well put together and probably the best shot at being real. It’s not mind-blowingly awesome so we’re pulling for it to be a phony, but either way it’s not a terrible effort, especially if put together by an amateur engineer.
