Tom Brady’s Mega-Mansion Is Complete, And It Has A Moat!

We first got wind of Tom Brady and Gisele’s ginormous mega-mansion back when it was just starting construction in Spring of 2011. It looked super impressive then, but oh boy does it look amazing now.

The $20 million giant two-wing house covers a ridiculous 22,000 square feet, including eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool with spa, an elevator, a nursery, a weight room, a wine cellar, and…a moat! Yes, a MOAT.

It kind of makes sense when you think about it; Tom Brady is a king, Tom Brady is all about protection – protecting the football, protecting himself – so what other solution is there for a king’s palace? Security system? Nah, moat motherf**ker!

It also makes sense considering Patriots safety Derrick Martin just had his home robbed last Sunday during the Pats AFC Championship game. If anyone wants to pull that shit with the world’s best quarterback, they better bring their floaties.

    I can’t take this article seriously at any level. You stated twice that having a moat makes sense. There is no reason for someone to spend money to build an entire moat around his house when that money could be put toward something way more respectable and generous.

      What’s more respectable than hiring someone to build it. I doubt he gave Gisele a shovel and told her to get to work. It disturbs me that people this its not respectable to give someone a job and that it would have been better if he gave the money to some bum.

    Congratulations for demonstrating to the world that you, Pete Blackburn, are nothing but an ignorant idiot. Anyone can plainly see that there is no moat in the Brady backyard, only a small pond. A true “moat” is defined as follows:

    “A moat is a deep, broad ditch, either dry or filled with water, that surrounds a castle, other building or town, historically to provide it with a preliminary line of defense.”

    Pete, you DO understand the meaning of the word “surrounds” don’t you?

        I think the point was that a moat is supposed to _surround_ a building. If it’s only on one side, it’s not a real moat.

        It’s just a decorative pond with a bridge crossing it.

          And to top off the fact is is not a proper moat, a Moat would have a drawbridge, not a permanent arch bridge.
          A Moat without a drawbridge just directs them to the entryway.
          I would actually applaud a real moat with drawbridge that is raised when they are 1) asleep or 2) not home

          PS add a Portcullis while you are at it.

    Why are these things built. Do guys like Brady understand they will never really “live” here. Both he and the wife spend more than half the year on the road. This is a waste better afforded by billionaires not millionaire football players and fashion models whose income will dwindle when they age and the game and fame pass them by.

      Uuuuummmm, Gisele earns $40 million a year and has a net worth of $250 million. Brady has earned well over $150 in his career. I think their combined earning power can afford a $20 million house.

    wow… reporter that uses profanity and a moat that looks like a giant mosquito pit. House not so impressive as it all sounds from the article. But that is what they wanted good for them and best wishes that they can hang on to it. Love the have the money they wasted on building it!
